Installing the aira® plasma filter (Rondo series) is quick and requires no invasive work. Here’s how.
The filter is positioned above the hood motor, so that the purified air can escape freely and ensure optimum operating efficiency, which is even better when the hood is running at the lowest speed.
Remove the charcoal filter if it is fitted in the canopy. The filter has a diameter of 150 mm and is supplied with a hood reducer with a motor outlet diameter of 120 mm.
If necessary, place the adapter over the motor outlet hole.
Place the aira® plasma filter on the adapter or directly on the motor outlet.
Connect the plugs of the hood and the aira® plasma filter to the power outlet. The filter is also supplied with a double plug.
Replace the flue pipe.
Once installed, the aira® plasma filter is automatically activated when the cooker hood is switched on.
To get the best performance from the aira® plasma filter, it is advisable to switch on the cooker hood 10/15 minutes before you start cooking and switch it off 10/15 minutes after you have finished. This will allow the filter to regenerate and ensure optimum air purification.
